The Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Skin ranges help manage the three consistent factors in hypersensitive skin - a compromised skin barrier, hyper-reactive sensory fibres in the epidermis and, finally, redness, often caused by inflammation. In developing its UltraSENSITIVE ranges Eucerin took a holistic skincare approach to what they term the Hypersensitive Skin Triangle, developing products that addressed each need. As hypersensitive skin typically has a compromised skin barrier external stressors can easily penetrate and irritate the underlying sensory fibers. These, in turn, react faster and much stronger than those protected by a healthy skin barrier. This results in unpleasant sensations which have been subjectively described as, among other things, stinging or burning. Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Repair Gel is recommended for hypersensitive skin where the main skin problem is an unpleasant skin feel with no visible signs of redness. Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Repair Gel is a light formula, containing SymSitive*, an innovative active ingredient specially developed for hypersensitive skin. SymSitive* acts as an effective sensitivity regulator directly at the source of the hyper-reactivity. As well as calming skin instantly, Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Repair Gel offers long-lasting skin comfort to hypersensitive skin. Apply morning and/or night after cleansing to face, neck and décolleté to relieve skin irritations and optimally hydrate the skin barrier. Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Repair Gel is a 'pure' formula which means it contains only a limited number of ingredients. Its packaging has been designed to protect it from contamination, thanks to a dual valve system. * =reg.tm of Symrise AG, Germany

    The only downside
The only downside of the product is that is very hard to find... I have only used it for 2 months and it has done wonders to my very sensitive skin. I love it.
